Structural investigation of oxide surfaces using surface x-ray diffraction
Topic: Oxide surfaces represent important substrate materials for nanostructures. For the optimization of nanostructure growth, the knowledge of oxide surface structures is required.
Tasks: Development of structural models of the MgAl2O4(100) surface as a function of the sample preparation conditions. Analysis of existing surface x-ray diffraction data using standard software.
